Enkhuizen the town where I was born. It's a town with about 16000 inhabitants. And it's situated at the IJsselmeer (ijssellake). In the summer many tourists come to Enkhuizen, a lot of them by boat. There are 2 marinas and the old harbors.

Enkhuizen has a tradition of fishery, you can still see that in the city-arms of three herrings. Enkhuizen is also called the "Herring Town".
