I photocopied those pages of the Kirchenbuch on wich the surname "Hastrich" occurred. As an exercise I transcribed all entries on this pages. Transcriptions of other parts and of other Kirchenbücher with the same surname may follow.
Brandscheid Z1 uses for the registration of births a printed form on two opposing pages as illustrated by the upper four rows in the following table. Note that the middle of the (double) page runs through the thick vertical celborder.
A page number may be written in the upper left corner. In cases of renumbering there may be two numbers. Page numbers run through the whole of the Z1 Kirchenbuch.
The "Nummer" column counts entries within a year.

Entries are done in a mix of Latin and German script by (normally) the local priest and signed by him.
The signatures are given in the next list. They are not repeated in the tabular transcription, except in case of separately signed additions to an entry.
