| 1993 was het laatste jaar dat de Rätische krokodillen in de reguliere dienst te vinden waren. Ze werden in de laatste jaren voornamelijk voor lichte en middelzware goederentreinen ingezet van uit Landquart richting Samedan, st Moritz en Pontrasina v.v. In de zomer van 1993 was een houttrein op de vroege morgen vaak van een krokodil als tractie voorzien zoals op de foto de RhB Ge 6/6 I 414 getoond bij doorkomst te Filisur met als bestemming Pontrasina. | 1993 was the last year during which RhB had the crocodiles in regular service. Mainly the machines took (light / middle) freight duties from Landquart to Samedan, St Moritz and Pontresina and back. In summer 1993 the early morning wood train was often being hauled by a crocodile, as shown on the photo: RhB Ge 6/6 I 414 when passing through Filisur heading to Pontresina. Filisur, August 1993. |
