Foto special van de maand juli 2008
| Van de Duitse lokserie DB 103 van welke de laatsten in 2003 buitendienst zijn gesteld zijn nog vier exemplaren als museum lokken bedrijfsvaardig. Daarvan is per 24 april 2007 de DB 103 184 als enige in zijn soort geschikt gemaakt en toegelaten voor Zwitserland. In het TEE jubileum jaar 2007 zijn er diverse rondritten met deze DB machines door Zwitserland gemaakt. Het is dus mogelijk om de DB 103 184 met een Sondernfahrt in Zwitserland aan te treffen. Op 11 juni 2008 werd een gezelschap uit Brig opgehaald door de TEE Rheingold en de reis verliep via de Lötschberg. De foto toont de DB 103 184 met de originele Rheingold rijtuigen op de lege heen rit naar Brig nabij Frutigen 11 juni 2008. | ||
| From the DB 103 class, of which the last machines had been withdrawn by 2003, only 4 of them remain and have been preserved as historic loco’s. One of them have been fitted for swiss traffic: DB 103 184 . During the TEE jubilee in 2007 some tours have been made with these machines through Switzerland. So it may be possible to meet DB 103 184 with an extra train in Switzerland. On June the 11th a crowd had been taken from Brig by TEE Rheingold and the trip went via the Lötschberg. | Na de (niet geplande) foto stop vertrok de DB 103 184 op de geplande doorkomsttijd 11:55 voor het vervolg van de reis richting Basel. Daarbij had ik de gelegenheid om de trein zonder publiek te fotograferen, men zat immers in de trein J Blausee-Mitholz 11 juni 2008. | ||

had the opportunity to make photo’s of the train without the crowd: all
