Purpose of this site.
This site is primarily intended to inform the members of the International Damask weavers' Network about all information that could be of interest to them.

Disclaimer.
The information on this website is given 'as is'. This means that we just publish what we receive from our. members. In case you feel there is an infringement on copyrights or intellectual property, please let us know by e-mail and we will take approppriate action. Consequently we cannot guarantee that the patterns given are free of errors when you weave them.
Browser, resolution, etc preferences.
You can best view our pages with Internet Explorer 6 or 7 or Mozilla Firefox. You preferably use a resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels or 1024 by 800.
Some pages contain activeX elements. Believe us, they are save to open. May be you must change the settings of your browser to see them E.g. the picture book on the homepage.
Membership.
The membership of the Network is completely free of charge. To become a member just send an e-mail to Jan and Laura Diepenbroek . We hope that only damask weavers apply for membership, although we can accept a limited number of non damask weavers. In all cases we do however hope that being a member means that you are willing to supply us with information, at least once a year. It is our intention to publish all info received, as long as we feel it is in the interest to our members. When we have hesitation to publish we will always contact you by mail to sort things out.
Communication.
Please inform us when your e-mail address will change. When not and we mail a newsletter to an address that bounces we will skip you from the list.
Also when you want to unsubscribe as a member we would like to receive a message.
Language.
The basic language is English. When we receive contributions in other languages we will translate it into English and publish both in English and the original language. Translation can be done as long as the original language is Dutch, German, French or Swedish.
Refreshment.
It is our intention to add new content every fortnight, but at least once a month, with exception of the holiday season (July and August). We cannot write all the content by ourselves, which means that when we do not get sufficient information from other members to publish we run the risk that the Network activity stops. Please help us to prevent that!
