I went to Amadora together with a friend who lives there. Amadora is a suburb of Lisbon which is known to be very dangerous. When I told people I would go there, some of them said I might not survive it... But Amadora turned out to be a very pleaseant place. I like to see the not so touristic places, so I can understand a country better.

Aqueduto das Águas Livres (Aqueduct of the Free Waters), a well-known aqueduct in Portugal and important to the history of Portugal because it brought water to Lisbon for a long time and being one of the biggest in the country.

A typical Portuguese mill.

Casa Roque Gameiro.

Igreja Matriz de Amadora.

Casa Aprígio Gomes.

Portas Benfica. These little towers mark the border between Benfica (Lisbon) and Amadora.
