On the dutch website http://vocopvarenden.nationaalarchief.nl/ you can find the names of about 700.000 people, who boarded the ships of the Vereenigde Indische Compagnie (VOC) to the East. Most of the ships went to Batavia, Dutch Indies. Under this 700.000 people are a lot of Ostfrisians. The site is in dutch which can make you some trouble to search. It will be in more languages in the future. To make it easier for you to search the names, I extracted the ostfrisian names out of it, as a sort of index. It won’t be complete, I’m afraid. If you can make additions to the dates, feel free to contact me.
