01-12-2010  preparation are moving forward. I have exchanged the doors of my wheelhouse and put back in new teak doors. All looks like brand new again.

18-07-2010 have made my plan and at the 31st of January I will stop working and prepare myself  the month of February for the "Great Loop".

01-09-2009 Just a little bit over a year and a half since I bought the boat. A lot more knowledge and several projects completed. I moved from Turtle Pier to the French side and hauled my boat out for hurricane season and I did good. 17th of October 2008 hurricane Omar passed us lucky me I had no damage at all. Than I moved the boat over to marina Fort Louis for the summer. Very nice marina, safe, fully equipped and outside the bridges. But in the mean time I had discovered that my stuffing boxes where eating the stuffing and it did not matter what and how much a put in to it. So this was the mean reason I hauled out at Bobby's Marina. I pulled my shafts and removed the stuffing boxes and have this all replaced. Will also change the true hulls of the toilets I exchanged and install new navigation equipment. Works on a boat are never done but my planning is to end this next year December and will than make preparations to move out of St. Maarten and start the world journey I have in mind and end up in Hong Kong where the boat was build. First goal will be New York. InlandwatermapUSA I want to see what "We" sold with my own eyes and never should have. Than moving towards New Orleans over the grate lakes and sail the grand loop. So yes finally the plan is there.

01-02-2007 This is my first boat and bought it on the first of February. Although I have been sailing on submarines I know nothing about engines and what keeps them running. I am a electrician in profession and came, in September 2006 to St. Maarten to work in the marine industry. Some people tell me that I am nuts to buy a boat like this especially when you do not have any knowledge about it. But I like the boat and want to go around the world with it. What’s a live without dreams? Will keep you informed about my progress.
