naar het strand. Overnachten in Ocean City, het Zandvoort of Benidorm van
dit deel van de wereld. Het viel mee. Assateague Island National Park heeft
wilde ponies en een prachtig strand. Het zeewater is erg koud Dit is de
koude golfstroom! << |

A weekend
at the beach. We spent the night in Ocean City which really was not all
that bad. Assateague Island, a national park famous for wild ponies, has
a beautiful beach.The sea water is very cold here, this is the cold gulf
stream. << |

schreef haar eerste toneelstuk over de verhouding tussen filosofe Hannah
Ahrent en haar leermeester Martin Heidegger. Ze won er een prijs mee. Prachtig
stuk, er werd geweldig geacteerd. Wij zagen het in het theater van het centrum
van de joodse gemeenschap van Washington, het theater voor bezoekers die
van denken houden! << |

play by debutante Kate Fodor about the complex relationship between philospher
Hannah Ahrendt and her teacher and one-time lover Martin Heidegger. Wonderful
play, great acting. We saw it at Theatre J, the theatre of the Jewish
community center of Washington DC, the theatre for the thinking audience!.

door Washington en herdenken gevallen Amerikaanse soldaten. Dit gezin houdt
een patriottische picnic midden op de Arlington Memorial Bridge. << |

May 30, the annual Rolling Thunder rolls through Washington. Harley Davidsons
and their riders commemmorate all fallen veterans. This family makes a day
of it, picnicking patriot style in the middle of the Arlington Memorial
