Using organic shaped paper patterns I cut holes in the deck. The cutouts will later be used as hatchcovers. This was careful handiwork.
Three layers of very thin plywood were used to create a rim. I used epoxy to glue these layers to the inside deck. In the picture you see 3 mirrors which are placed on the bottom of the boat.
I plan to use rubber strips to keep water out of the compartments.
Putting my supports in the highest position I can stand up straight. This makes the work easier.
Placing the wooden bulkheads was easy.
Text was put under the epoxy again, printed on rice paper with my inkjet printer.
