Toetanchamon.

I worked on this piece from November 2002 till February 2004.

When Toetanchamon became pharaoh of Egypt some 3.300 years ago - he was only nine years of age.
The young pharaoh hardly had time to accomplish himself as he died at the age of nineteen (1.335 B.C.).
He was buried in the "Valley of the Kings" in Luxor, Egypt.

His coffin was made of gold and decorated with beautiful gems.

He was the son-in-law of Achnaton and Nefertete.

It measures 39 x 49 cm.
