Quirks and Features

When Driving Force wheel is set in Options, PS2 game controller no longer works (in most other games, both are enabled for everything except steering).
No way to manually save (have to wait until the game asks, and it doesn't ask after every race).
Too much extra time spent loading RPG stuff (I'm not a big RPG fan).
No qualifying for races (starting grid is random).
No onscreen mirror (need to press a button for rear view).
Single Day Event goes straight into race (no setup, practice, or testing).

Includes more cars than just the DTM touring cars, and includes more championships than just the DTM series.
Up to 4 Careers can be saved per memory card.
Works with the Logitech Driving Force steering wheel.
The sound and feel of the cars make for a pleasurable driving experience, especially when alone on the track.

Miscellaneous Notes

For Single Day events, you're expected to race without practice in cars you may have never driven before. Below are some notes to even the odds :
- Make sure the game is saved before accepting a Single Day offer
- Accept the Single Day offer and do the race
- To retry, Log-Off (Return to HQ) and reload the saved Career
- Keep trying until you get a good result
Some teams offer test drives to see if you're good enough for a contract. If the first attempts fail, you can use the above technique to retry those too.
For each completed championship, there will be a picture of a car in Pro Race Driver Map. The pictured car can be unlocked by winning the one-on-one race. You'll need to unlock at least one to enter an Elite Class championship.
Pro Race Driver Map can only be accessed from the Startup screen. On the "E-Mail | Progress | Log-Off" screen, Log-Off returns you to the Startup screen but unloads Career and clears the PRDM. To return to the Startup screen without unloading Career, press the [Triangle] button.
