• During a championship in Season mode, you'll be given the opportunity to unlock various upgrade parts. To unlock an upgrade part, you'll need to clear a Parts Test Objective, but you'll only get one chance to do it. If you want to be able to retry a Parts Test, you should save the game after every second (even-numbered) race by pressing [Start] at the Race Results screen and going back to the Options menu to save the game. If you fail the Parts Test, just reload the gamesave and try again.
• For the Arcade and Time Trial modes, it doesn't matter which class of bikes you use, so choose whichever class you're most comfortable with.
• Doing an Arcade race counts for statistics in Paddock > History.
• Upgrade parts are perminent; if you unlock a part in one season, the part will carry over to the next season. Therefore, the more championships a bike is used in, the more upgrades you can get for the bike.
• With the difficulty level set to Hard, you need to be very careful not to cut any corners; the penalty for cutting corners is 10 seconds.
• If you want to use an upgraded bike in Arcade or Time Trial mode, be sure to set the Tuning option to Tuned; the default is Standard (non-tuned).
