Miscellaneous Notes

• Bonus events are unlocked by acquiring a certain amount of cups. The amount needed is shown at the top right (on locked events) where it usually shows "?/3 cups" (on unlocked events).
• Cups are awarded in Pro Career and Time Trial modes. The 177 cups are divided into 3 groups of 59 cups each (59 Pro Career Normal, 59 Pro Career Hard, and 59 Time Trial cups).
• The "Load/Save" option in championships is for car setups only, not for saving game progress.
• To copy a gamesave (MC1) to another memory card (MC2):
  1. Start ToCA3 with the memory card (MC1) that has the gamesave you want to copy.
  2. After the gamesave has been loaded, remove MC1 and insert MC2.
  3. Go to Pro Career mode, choose any discipline, and then choose any championship.
  4. Start a Practice, Qualifying, or Race session, and then exit whenever you want.
  5. At this point, the program will say something like "Save failed. MC has changed". Just say "OK" and you'll be presented with a screen that has a Save button on it.
  6. Save the game, and then either Continue the championship or Retire.
  The gamesave on MC2 won't be an exact copy of the one on MC1, but it should be okay for backup purposes.
• You can also use Action Replay MAX to create a backup of your gamesave, but shuffling discs and loading AR takes longer than the above method.
• All items in Options > Bonus except "Honda" and "Honda 2006" are reset on startup, so you'll need to enable them each time (e.g., if you want the Toy discipline, you'll need to enable it before it'll show up in Free Race mode).
