ChromaKeep is a free small but powerful Windows program to extract colors from your screen with the built-in magnifying glass and save them in your own color lists, which are easy to edit.
Furthermore, it is possible to use ChromaKeep as a portable program for example on a USB stick. In this way you can take your color lists with you.

ChromaKeep is a combination of “chroma” and “keep”.
Chroma is the Greek word for color and
Keep can mean the following: to retain, protect, or maintain.
These two keywords capture the essence of the program.
ChromaKeep is the successor to ColorCatcher; as mentioned, the new name better reflects the nature of the program.

• ChromaKeep can copy colors such as Hex, Decimal, RGB, HSV or Integer value and save the colors to the stack for later use.
• You can create your own color lists by adding, for example, the 16 stack colors or the current color. In the color list editor it is possible to change the color name or replace it with the color value. The order of the list is changeable by drag and drop.
• Import and export GPL files and CSS :root{ } files.
• Import HEX color lists from the internet and transform them into ChromaKeep color list.
• Via the clipboard (computer memory) it is possible to exchange colors between ChromaKeep and your web designs and vice versa.
• There are Modules so that you can reduce the screen size of the program.
• Undo and Redo functions, as well as the ability to add opacity.
