For your information: There are a lot of sheep in Friesland !
In order to test my portable setup and to make contacts with more of my Danish friends I went up North to the Friesian dike (near Westhoek) for the 144MHz Nordic Activity Contest on 7. July 1998.
I spite of the fact that I had to stop an hour early because of a failing power supply the result was 56 QSOs including 31 Nordic stations. The portable setup performed well in the storm conditions on the dike.
