Nearby The beaches of the Normandy Landings. Bayeux: a town of artistic interest, with a cathedral and the famous tapestry. Night time coach tour of the Bessin area available twice a week in summer. Caen: a historical town; the Peace Museum. Mont-Saint-Michel: one of the wonders of the Western World. Many golf courses nearby with particularly the course at Omaha beach (18+9 holes), possibility of sailing and horse-riding 12 kms (7.5 miles) away.
Access: Michelin map N54, fold N14. Indicaded "Monument Historique". From Bayeux, take the RN13, in the direction of Cherbourg. After the village of Mosles, take the D29 to the left for 11 kms (6,9 miles), then the D29 A in the direction of Colombières. At the first crossroads, the chateau is on the right.
