Simulation

I was involved in two innovative projects regarding general simulation environments. The basic idea is that a model is a database of formulae to be inspected by the calculation engine.

The first project was MANIP, sponsored by the European Space agency to replace their old FORTRAN programs for thermal simulation. It led to two articles to be supplied here when (and if) permission is obtained

1986 Vienna SCCS Simulation conference

With some friends I have worked on a company called X-prime Ltd along these lines. Andy Symons introduced the idea of simulation via the Internet. It never worked out. However you may be interested in the simulation program we made for MS Windows. An installation script is also provided. Just run the xp.exe and select one of the models.
