• Toshiba Libretto 110CT & Windows+Linux+OS/2
(Somewhat dated) How I got Windows, Linux & OS/2 to work on my Toshiba Libretto 110 CT. I'm busy making new pages; some parts are still missing, others incomplete ...
The old pages have been archived here.

• MLPU
  Multi Layer Program Unsteady State
Een DOS-programma voor analytisch multiaquifer modelleren van grondwaterstroming - ach, als je niet weet wat dat is hoef je er ook niet te kijken ;-)
A proprietary DOS program for analytical multi-aquifer groundwater modeling. I have developed it in the early 90s up till -say- 2005 and sold it world wide. As it's DOS-based it won't work on multi-CPU or multicore CPU computers (unless in a virtual PC or with the DOSBOX emulator) but otherwise works well. It could (can) do things that contemporary analytical SW still can't do.
MLPU has been archived and is AFAIK no more used by anyone.

(From "Pre-Published Proceedings" of ModelCare 2005 conference) Scan of poster abstract from me and Kick Hemker about analysis in 2000 of a recovery-pumping test near Boxmeer, The Netherlands carried out in 1996.

• Asus WL-330gE review
Een review van de Asus WL-330gE mini-router/AP/wifi repeater, en een korte narrige beschrijving van mijn ervaring met een D-Link G-730AP (in het Engels).
A review of the Asus WL-330gE pocket AP/router/wifi repeater, plus some rants on a similar D-Link G-730AP device.

Oude rondzend-meels + foto-links over ons verblijf in Coopers Beach, Nieuw-Zeeland in 2008 (Elvira werkte daar als waarnemend huisarts).
Some old e-mails and URL's to pictures about our stint in Coopers Beach, New Zealand, in 2008. Elvira worked there as a locum-GP (family doctor). Warning: it's all in Dutch!

=============================================================================

Because while trying to install several software on my PC's, a.o. Octave/Cygwin, I gratefully and liberally used information published by many other volunteers on the Internet, and I thought I could add a bit by publishing my experiences, too.

All opinions expressed here are my own and my own responsibility, yet trying my suggestions is always at your own risk.

If:

• You like more information, or
• You've got Libretto, JVC, or Octave-for-Windows related info that may be helpful for other people and should be included on this web site,

please send me an e-mail: %NOJUNKMAILPLEASE-@pr.nienhuis_at_hccnet.nl - Please remove %NOJUNKMAILPLEASE-@ from my e-mail address first and tune up the rest of it, too! - I drown in junk mail about Russian ladies and ways to get rich within the next thirty minutes (Oh if the latter could only come true.... ;-)
