The way it works
|
PsiFTP uses Psion's standard serial link for it's connection to your OS/2 host computer. No need to install software on the Psion. The command set is based on the FTP protocol as used on internet. Commands are entered from the command-line and can be used in batchfiles to perform specific tasks. Useful Backup and Restore commands are also available.

PWD: display current path on Psion and on PC
REN: rename file on Psion
TOUCH: set file date/time from file on Psion to current
GTIME: display date/time for file on Psion
TEST: test file on Psion
GATTR: get attributes from file on Psion

!: invoke any OS/2 command on PC when running PsiFTP
PS:get a list of running processes on your Psion
KILL: kill selected process on the Psion
RUN: run a specified program on your Psion
OWNER: show Psion's owner information

SYNCT: synchronize Psion and PC clocks
BYE: end of PsiFTP session
