The way it works
Netdrive is an installable file system like HPFS, JFS and FAT. It makes good use of the flexibility of the OS/2 operating system which allows third-party filesystems to be installed. The latest version of the Psion plug-in handles multi-threading very well, in spite of the relatively slow serial connection to the Psion. If you want, it is even possible to backup your Psion's data on tape, using IBM Dualstor tape backup software on your OS/2 computer (and yes, restore data from tape to Psion works too!).

Command overview
When using Netdrive you don't have to learn a new line of commands. Given the fact that it is an Installable Filesystem (IFS) the Psion shows up as a 'drive-object' on your OS/2 computer. All possible tasks can be done using standard OS/2 commands and/or programs.
