Statistics

The statistics section:

An answer to the frequently asked questions about rankings.

Note: I'm looking for static accounts that can be consulted for the milestones in the 'geek marble display' (2nd table). Please, adas @ home,nl the account-link if you can be of assistance.

The tables:
- The 'sliding percentile window' gives an idea of how many workunits need to be crunched per day to stay in a given percentage window and at how many workunits this window was reached on the submission date of the report.
- The 'geek marble display' shows the relation between milestones, ranking, the number of people at the given milestone and percentages of people not yet reaching them on the submission date of the report.

How do you rank? How many workunits did you process? Check your S@h stats here. Also see the users top 1000 on the project website (~270kb table).

These statistics have been collected since January 2000. Continued accuracy will only be possible with your help. Please report updates to an appropriate alt.sci.seti newsgroup thread or to me. Just copy-and-paste the tables from your S@h statistics page and post them.

' Thanks to all who have sent in a report. '

Note: if there are entries in the tables without 'ranking', then they were estimated through linear interpolation.
