CITY@home

The CITY@home section:

Putting gaussians into perspective. If you are not familiar with this section, first read a short explanation of what gaussians are here.

The tables:
- The 'top 50 cities of the world'. This is what it's all about. Collected here are the best returned gaussians people have found over time and submitted here.
- The 'personal best cities of the world (based on signal ratio)' is where everyone can showcase their best returned gaussian. Higher signal ratio is better.
- The 'personal best cities of the world (based on score)' is a substitute for the gaussian top 20 at Berkeley, based on an arbitrary score system. Higher score is better.
- The 'Odd Ones' is where the misfits are on display. Anything goes, sort off.

How does your gaussian fit in the big picture? Check your gaussian here. Can you find your spot in the sky? Also see the gaussians top 50 at the SETI@home website.

These tables are only possible with your continuing help. Please report new gaussians or updates to me. Details on what is required and how to participate can be found here.

' Thanks to all who have sent in their gaussians. '
