Introduction

I bought in 1993 my first fischertechnik interface (30520) and software LuckyLogic (30521). In those days, I had a 286 18 mHz PC with 1 mB of memory and a 40 mB hard disk. Later on the motherboard was replaced by a 386DX 40 mHz with 4 mB of memory. The fischertechnik interface was connected to a printer port (LPT1). In those days, the printer port was controlled via a separate multi-i/o board.

LuckyLogic
To simulate machine controls (PLC) on my PC, I made a program. It has been written in TurboPascal. The original name was MPPC: MicroProcessor (simulation running on a) Personal Computer. Later on the name became DEV: Development System. The final versions were DEV 1.5 for DOS and later DEV95 for Windows 95. The program simulates a PLC on the computer in a full-graphic environment. You can connect open and closed contacts (for instance inputs) to relais (for instance outputs). The program is not finished, but still I use it to control my fischertechnik models.

Start program

Enter the command C:\DEV to start the program.

Optional command line switches:

In those days, still PC's exists without a mouse. Therefore the mouse controls could be switched off. Also it was possible to run the program without the interface connected.
