14th Infantry division.

Unlike other German Divisions about the 14^th ID there is no Division history book available. There are however a lot of other divison history’s, diary’s and other documents in which the actions of the 14^th Infantry division are mentioned.

Between 1965 and 1970 the actions of the Division were published in a paper from the association of the former soldiers from the 11^th Infantry regiment. The name of the paper was “Unser Ehrenblatt“. In this paper the period from 21 august 1939 until 15 December 1942 was covered within chapter 5 till 21.

Unfortunately in my collection the numbers 1 till 4 are missing.

As far as I know there is no division history about the period after 16^th of December 1942 until the end of the war.

However, about the Regiment itself there is a regimental history book in which of course a lot of actions about the other Regiments of the Division are mentioned. The name of this book: Geschichte des 11. (Sächs.) Infanterie-Regiments, späteren Infanterie-Regiments 11 und Grenadier-Regiments 11von 1918-1945.
